Making a difference in the experiences of the campus community is my goal in higher education. I enjoy working with all members of the college, in any capacity - from editing and assisting with a document to developing an online course - and seeing the joy of conquering the technology and learning new ways to express their knowledge and skills.
Authentic, experiential, and evidence-based learning are the cornerstones of teaching and learning through enterprise level instructional technologies. The ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) paves the way for learning, doing, and reflecting on scholarly teaching and learning.
The most important knowledge teachers need to do good work is a knowledge of how students are experiencing learning and perceiving their teacher's actions.
